Established 1950

Since the beginning of the 1950s, our two founders worked towards to the same high standards and shared goals, thousands of miles apart.

Ramana Ramaswamy returned to India in 1947 after an education in Electrical Engineering in England. After a few years of working jointly with others building electric motors and so forth, he began his business of manufacturing electric motors and water pumps in 1956, which would eventually lead to the formation of Texmo Precision Castings.

Wilhelm Blank established his tools sales agency Riedlingen, Germany, in 1950, which would grow into Feinguss Blank. Just six years later, Ramana Ramaswamy began his business in Coimbatore, India which would lead to the eventual formation of Texmo Precision Castings.

Since then, both companies have been driven by a desire to create truly innovative products while building people-focussed cultures. Over the last 70 years, each has set industry benchmarks, while creating leading products, processes and services along the way.

In October 2023, Texmo Precision Castings and Feinguss Blank signed an agreement for Texmo Precision Castings to acquire a majority share in Feinguss Blank, bringing our stories together. The result is an investment castings company with local knowledge and a global infrastructure.

Amalgamated 2023
