Time To Market
On this page
Innovation is integral to Texmo Blank. Bringing new products we have conceived to market is important to us, and we strive to make the time to market as short as possible.
Our expertise and state-of-the-art facilities ensure we get it right first time, every time. We are continuously developing our product range, and making it available to our partners within industry-leading timescales.
No matter where you are in the world, we can manufacture in a place that minimises delivery time and makes the time to market process faster.
Unrivalled Lead Times
At Texmo Blank we’re also proud of our lead times. We can take a product from prototype stage to delivery of the finished article faster than anybody else in the industry.
Following a client’s order, we can deliver a prototype in days. This is because we embrace advanced technologies, which enable rapid prototyping to quickly produce wax models of your casting. From there it is possible to put the model into production, and the castings can be completed and delivered to you in a matter of weeks.
Lead Times For Investment Castings
- Quoting – 1-2 weeks.
- Wax Delivery – 3-5 days following the placement of a purchase order.
- Rapid Prototyping – Approximately 3 weeks with no queue in manufacturing.
- Hard Tooling – Range from 4-8 weeks.
Elements Which Impact Lead Times
- Complexity – A complex component may require multiple iterations to reach acceptable quality standards.
- Industry Requirements – Audits, validations and capability studies are an important part of the process, and can lengthen lead times.
- Design For Manufacture (DFM) – Our time-to-market is the best in the business, but if a component is brand new this can add to the engineering time required at the start of the project. This is also the case for products that are not new but have been converted from a different manufacturing process.
- Additional Outside Processes – Heat treating and plating can add to the development time.
